New Godzilla Manga Unveils Visual, Godzilla Galaxy Odyssey Title

The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Jyu Ishiguchi’s new Godzilla manga has revealed a new visual and confirmed the title as Godzilla Galaxy Odyssey. The manga is set to debut in Akita Publishing’s Young Champion magazine on May 27.

Jyu Ishiguchi is illustrating the new manga. Renowned Godzilla designer Shinji Nishikawa is handling the design for Godzilla, while Hiroshi Maruyama is responsible for creating the space monster designs. Ishiguchi is also credited with the mecha designs for the series.

The manga’s official X (formerly Twitter) account first launched on November 3, announcing the series alongside a teaser trailer and revealing the creative team.

Ishiguchi’s past design credits include work on Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online and its sequel, The Marginal Service, as well as Fairy gone. Additionally, in 2015, Ishiguchi contributed as a guest illustrator for a special Knights of Sidonia book curated by Tsutomu Nihei.
