Yoko's Corner is an Indigenous-owned anime store based in Cairns QLD. Established in 2018, the store specializes in licensed anime merchandise and engagement with the local community through various events and collaborations.​​

• Hive Con: Hosts a free-entry convention featuring various exhibitors, artists, gamers, and content creators, aiming to position Cairns as a hub for pop culture.

Leadership & Collaborations

The store is owned and operated by Mitchell, also known online as "Yoko Yakashi." He is an Indigenous creator affiliated with platforms Twitch and TikTok, and is a member of the Indigenous creator group BlakoutGG. His affiliations include being a Twitch Affiliate, TikTok Ace Creator, Ubisoft Partner, Razer Creator, Disobey Creator and Director of Squid Jam Creators.

Yoko's Corner has collaborated with notable companies such as ZING Pop Culture, Event Cinemas, Sony Pictures Australia, and Crunchyroll to bring anime/animated movies, celebrations and other events to the Cairns community.
