'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess' Anime's 2nd Season Premieres in January 2026

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei's manga 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess (Hime-sama, "Gōmon" no Jikan Desu) announced on Tuesday that the second season is set to premiere in January 2026. Along with the announcement, the staff revealed a new visual showcasing the character Sakura Heartrock.

Mutsumi Tamura has joined the cast as the voice of Sakura Heartrock.

Crunchyroll will stream the new season of Tis Time for "Torture," Princess across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, the Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia.
The first season debuted in January 2024 on Tokyo MX and BS11, and was also available for streaming on ABEMA. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the first season, which consists of 12 episodes.
Yōko Kanamori (The Ancient Magus' Bride, Attack on Titan episode director) directed the anime at studio PINE JAM. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Dropkick on My Devil!, In the Land of Leadale) oversaw the series composition. Character designs were handled by Toshiya Kōno (Schwarzes Marken sub-character designer) and Satoshi Furuhashi (Comet Lucifer prop design assistant). Masaru Yokoyama (Queen’s Blade: The Exiled Virgin, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) composed the music.

The opening theme, "Massakasa Magic!," was performed by the band shallm, while the group LEEVELLES performed the ending theme, "Ashita wa Ashita no Kaze ga Fuku."
Publisher Shueisha describes the manga’s story as follows:
A captive princess, subjected to relentless torture by the Hellhorde!
Haruhara (known for Senyū.) launched the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform in Japan in April 2019. In October of the same year, Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service began publishing the manga in English.
The series went on hiatus in December so Haruhara could prioritize their health but resumed publication on December 31. The 17th compiled volume of the manga is scheduled for release on Friday.
