After failing the final exam for his dream job at the royal court, the talented young sorcerer Allen longs for a quiet life in the countryside. However, even that simple wish is out of reach—he can't even afford a train ticket! With no other choice, he seeks employment, and his only opportunity is far from ordinary: Duke Howard, one of the kingdom's most influential nobles, is searching for a private tutor for his daughter, Tina.
Although Tina excels academically, she is completely unable to cast even a single spell. To make matters worse, the entrance exams for the prestigious Royal Academy are fast approaching—and magical ability is a strict requirement! Can Allen, with his unique approach to magic, help Tina overcome her mysterious inability, something even the kingdom’s best sorcerers have failed to unravel? And does the duke truly want him to succeed?
