Square Enix Announces Dragon Quest Smash/Grow Mobile Game

Square Enix announced on Tuesday a new mobile game titled Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, with a teaser trailer set to stream on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

The company also revealed release dates for two major remakes:

• Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remakes – Launching October 30, 2025 on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam/Windows).
• Dragon Quest VII Reimagined – A remake of the 2000 Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past (PS1), launching February 5, 2026 on Switch 2, Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
